Southwest cue joint?

I understand Southwest uses a 3/8×11 joint pin. Are they a standard thread and joint diameter?

If a person wanted to use a Predator Revo with a 3/8×11 thread would it fit and line up with the Southwest cue?

I know this would be sacrilege to some , but there are some that prefer the feel of the carbon fiber shaft.

Apparently Predator don't make a Revo in 3/8×11.

They don't.
You'd have to get it re-tapped.
Revo's joint size is around .840.
SW is around .830.
Revo will have a little lip at the joint due to the larger diameter.

I have a Searing shaft that was built originally for a Tasc that has a little lip overhang on my Runde butt and I swear it plays way better than a shaft Dennis built with my Runde butt in hand to match perfectly. I’ve thought maybe there is something to the lip, but just my personal experience. I’d be curious if a someone like Joey tested the theory on one of his cues to get his opinion. Maybe there is some strange feedback, that I like, due to the lip. could Be a whole new market.
