Even if it's free I'm not waiting that long for a cue. I think you guys are nuts.

Imagine this. I'm thinking I'm getting on a list thinking I'm getting a cue for $2k. We will call you when it's time to start building your cue. Over a decade and a a half later they call you. Mr.Z we can start making you cue. Please cough over $5k+. If you don't someone will easily replace you.

Explain to me the downside in this scenario?

If it’s too expensive when your name comes up you can just pass, they’ll move onto the next person waiting. Costs nothing to get on the list, costs nothing to wait, costs nothing if you decide to pass when your name comes up.

I could see it being “nuts” if there was a cost involved to getting on the list and then waiting but it literally just takes an email and then someday in the future you have the option to buy a cue many find highly desirable.

My pseudo big regret with South West was that I had two cues on the list on back-to-back years or maybe two years apart, and I gave up the second one. I was in the middle of a divorce and thought that spending ~2k on a cue brand that I already had that already wasn’t my main player didn’t make much sense. I blame my illogical choice on my mental state at the time. Congrats, Ken.
