i have offered money back deals to others on az(hal comes to mind) as i don,t know how to post pics nor do i even own a camera. i have never had an item returned because i deliberately, conservatively rate my cues when describing them to avoid someone being unsatisfied. i guess you didn,t catch crawfish's post where he has checked out my cue in person here in greensboro. please don,t come on here questioning my integrity or honesty. you don't know me or have any reason to do so. feel free to call me at 704 418 0080 and hopefully i can put your mind at ease. thanks jason

Jason,
I wouldn't even comment on your post if I wasn't an interested buyer. I didn't mean to doubt your integrity, but you have to admit it's rare these days to find someone who doesn't own or can't even borrow a camera for use when trying to sell such an expensive item. Add to that the fact that you're describing the wood as one species and the cue dealer that sold it to you is describing it as another. Again, just odd. I'm not trying to cast any doubt here, just trying to get better pics of the forearm and a true answer for what the wood is because I was seriously considering the purchase. Seems best if I just move on and wish you luck in your sale.

The wood is clearly cocobolo in this SW. The orignal seller may simply not have known. Personally, I've heard 'jayburger' is fine to deal with. If you are leery, my suggestion would be to handle the purchase through a third party escrow such as Scot Sherbine or any one of several respected members of this board.

mr.hoppe i do agree that it is rare to find someone who doesn,t know how to take and post pictures here on this forum. But that simply is the case here and in hind sight i shouldn't have posted this cue here and opened myself up for this type of situation. the truth is you have every right to ask for any extra pics, cue description, etc.. that you feel is necessary to make an informed decision as a buyer. i simply don,t know how to take and post them. I thought a southwest as nice as this would be very easy to sell simply from the pics taken by bill grasselly, and by having people look at the good/bad feedback report on buyers and sellers as well as posting names of other az ers that i have dealt with that potential buyers could check with to help ease any worries when dealing with me. THANKS CUE ADDICTS for your good word. jason(jayburger)

The wood in this picture looks like a very dark rosewood to me just me .02
