What kind of trade?Any interest in trades?
Someone buy this thing. Please. lol. For the sake of my marriage and bank account.
Good looking cue and last time I said that I lasted an hour before I pulled the trigger
Play many more games…. Wink.Cue is no longer unchalked I took it out last night and played a few games with it so I will drop the price to $2600 it is a great player
The only reason I don't keep it is because I'm a truck driver and I'm on the road 4-6 weeks at a time and home a week or less so I don't really have time to play are I would keep ItPlay many more games…. Wink.
No. So the price goes down more. Lol. Sorry to hear you have to part with it though. I’ve been there. The only reason I don't keep it is because I'm a truck driver and I'm on the road 4-6 weeks at a time and home a week or less so I don't really have time to play are I would keep It
How's the deflection? I would love to shoot with a cue like this, but I grew up on low deflection shafts and struggle to shoot effectively with a standard maple shaft.Cue is no longer unchalked I took it out last night and played a few games with it so I will drop the price to $2600 it is a great player
I don't disagree with anything you've shared here. I recently discovered kielwood shafts and they seem to be the best balance between feel and accuracy. I just hate the idea of buying a $3k cue and then just putting a $150 shaft on itDeflection is affected by a number of factors in a shaft. My old Bender shaft had a more stiff taper and shorter ferrule. Hence the low deflection. But the shaft was standard rock maple. Southwest I can only imagine having a similar focus on the stuff hit.
I could be wrong but so would put them in the same category of cues along with Kershenbrock. I’m on a wait list for Bender because of it. My favorite shaft on my current cue was and still is a conical European taper from Schuler. Short ferrule as well. Soft but stiff feel.
I have a low deflection shaft that came with the Schuler. Hate the feel. May be just me. You could always get a shaft for the SW to your specs.
Not to advertise other makers.. mike benders cues are truly incredible. Tracy's designs are also truly art. I honestly can't believe some of the things they've put in cues really questions whether I should be framing the cue or shooting with it.Deflection is affected by a number of factors in a shaft. Edit.
Hsunami make torrefied cue shafts can be made to order. I’d opt for a longer shaft to push balance forward. 30” shaft as the process lightens the weight.
Interesting about your last comment about $150 shaft on a $3k cue. I know some guys with high dollar cues like that who put them in a $150 case!I don't disagree with anything you've shared here.
