Southwest ??? Yeah Right

It could be if they don't know what they have. I sent them questions about the stick. Maybe we might get lucky!!! It is alot better than getting a J&J copy.

Hard to tell from the butt alone, but it certainly appears to be a SW. I would be more skeptical of the new user and this being a scam. Seems like this cue was recently sold or offered for sale.

Road trip to Scotsdale?

I am going to need a neswpaper with date and the cue in hand picture on this one. I smell scam. zero feedback. I wonder if he is really in Scotsdale. I think we got a detective close that could go and look at it.

Oh NOOOOOOO..not the SLEUTH:confused:

I don't feel comfortable about the auction:mad:

This one seems quite similar to an auction that was posted probably 2-3 times. Even the picture and description used seem eerily similar. That, coupled with the relatively new user and no feedback, smells of a scam.

He can claim a pin number, but most serious sellers will post a picture of the pin and number, not to mention more pictures of the cue, especially when dealing with such a high ticket cue.

Does South West not bother to line up their rings?!

Nope, they intentionally misalign them....well, let me rephrase. They align the A&B rings above/below the wrap, and for everything else the 3-4 more positions, those should line up. See the attachments below and you should see what I mean.

Interesting..Sean. I actually sent a cue back to the maker once for not lining up rings..It's just one of those things with me. Is that one way Southwest can spot fakes? Are the offset the same way on all their cues?

Thanks
Andy

After I posted that I went and looked at a few and I see what you're talking about. Any idea on why they do it?

Not sure about all of them going way back, but all the ones in recent memory are arranged in this manner. Just their style of doing things, I guess....

He's saying the pin number is 348-01.

J&J numbering pins now?

I do not think so, but it is a 135.00 Cue, as we have a local selling J & J in Bar everyday of the week out of his trunk for 135.00
