I see people on the forums talking about titleist conversions. This is foreign to me. Could someone explain what the "titleist" designation means? (not a golf ball )

It is a house cue with colored veneer points Brunswick made many years ago. Many top old school cuemakers used to make their cues out of them. Now they have come back into demand and newer cuemakers are searching high and low for those old Titlist bar cues to convert into custom two piece cues.

So when I see "cuemaker's name" and titleist conversion after the name, that means that that cuemaker converted the Brunswick bar stick into a two piece cue. What is a Brunswick bar stick with colored veneers worth?
