Of course I can't speak for Dean, but when I talked to him, about an hour ago, I got the distinct feeling that the spot I took was <not> the last one; that there was, at least, one more spot available.

But, give him a call. I had a very pleasant conversation with him myself. If you look up 'affable' in the dictionary, it will probably have a reference to him... :)
