Please pass on to all spectators and players that are going to the
SuperBilliard Expo New Jersey. This will be a great promotion and
bring pool players to the 3-Cushion tables and arena.

3 Cushion Promotions

At this time i won't know until we have all players there on Wednesday.
I will then see whom will want to help in this great promotion on getting pool players to the table.

I will be posting daily with pictures an results

I'm in the money!

How do I tell if I am a pool player or a carom player? I like the idea! I would like to try to beat a carom player.( maybe Jim Shovack) I play both games but for the last couple of years my game has been 3-c. So, 57 years of intermittent pool with some carom mixed in, very little carom. Would I qualify for this game and if I win can I play again and can I go on to the nationals? ------Regardless, I'm in but I would pay to play Shovack, I'm a fan! I hope to see all you azers at sbe.

Dan,

Yes you can play. And yes you may be able to play me. I understand you wanting to play an easy game. LOL. A fan? You must be the only one. You can be the president of my fan club.

Jim Shovak

Thanks Jim,That's the appreciation I get for starting your FAN CLUB.I want credit for getting Dan to belong. The total is up to 2 but who's counting.I'll see you at SBE

Shovack Fan! President?

As the newly appointed President of the " Jim Shovak Fan Club" I hereby accept all the duties and responsibilities that goes with this prestigeous position, I hereby proclaim that I will do my utmost to maintain the high standards of 3-c billiards that Jim has displayed during his professional career. Someone who goes far beyond any player in history, playing in every tournament known to man and one who, and his "Moxie", proves that winning a tournament has nothing to do with the love of this game, although I'm sure winning would be nice once in a while but when and if it ever happens we should have a parade in Jim's honor or maybe some sort of lunch to celebrate his victory. A player who gives his best at all times, under all circumstances, even when almost losing to pool player in a recent tournament. I have watched Jim playing during live streaming and some videos on youtube and I like his style of play and I now believe I know why the sound is usually very low or off completly. How could you not love a guy like this? Jim. am I still president? Oh yeah! NO ATOMIC WEDGIE for me! When we play and if I should win by some fluke do I then get to give you the atomic wedgie?

I cannot argue with a single point you have made. And you made me laugh! I need to wear a muzzle when I play and then maybe they will raise the volume.

Jim Shovak Fan Club? Dan....I always considered you a thoughtful level-headed kind of guy. President of the Jim Shovak Fan Club? Why must you lower your standards?

I have been a big supporter of him on most issues while on the USBA board.

It happened... it was a huge success... and was live streamed on Friday night... somewhere around 70 matches... about 7 pool players collected... just my rough numbers but pretty close...

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the match. I had a great time, by the way, and enjoyed your company very much! Thanks for being my president.

"shovak"

Jim, I had a great time at my first Expo and I will cherish our meeting forever, I think? After paying my adminission for my son, grandson and myself I walked through the maze of bar boxes, vendors, tatoos, teeshirts, and there it was! I was standing at the double doors at the Nationals and for a brief moment I thought I was at the Pearly Gates, it seemed like heaven to see the greatest players in the U.S. and as I peered in off in the distance I saw Jim Shovak. I soon reverted back to reality! I proudly introduced myself as the newly appointed president of your fan club and you seemed happy to meet me.--- I watched you play during the tournament and hoped you would complete every billiard, well of course that didn't happen and I'm sure your performance was not what you hoped for but you did real good.
Your day will come so hang in there. Maybe some day all the players will fall off the stagging area and you will win by default!{just kidding}---God bless Paul Frankel!, it was scary what happened to him, he is a real tropper and returned on the final day and was in good spirits. I liked Paul's event which allows pool players to try to defeat a 3-c player and I especially liked playing a game with you. Even though I lost terribly I thought I enjoyed myself, I could be wrong about that! You showed your skill and billiard acumen and left no doubt that defeating a billiard star is no easy task. I attempted the break shot but I was a little nervous and the chalk I was using was defective and my ball rolled off slightly when it rolled across that cold spot on the table and I missed by a close margin of 8.5". I think in retrospect that I may have "Noodle-armed" it a bit. You then approached the blue battlefield of honor with a glare in your eyes as if you were on a mission from God! You quickly ran off 4 billiards, every shot precise and with perfect position. Why don't you play like that always! I missed and it was over 5- zip.------- I shall always remember playing you and now that I have been released by my therapist I will practice 16 hrs each day and hope that someday you will give me a re-match. It seems that I was inflicted with B.D.D. [ billiard deficit disorder]. My Doctor, Amile Von de Billiardo has told me that some day it will pass. It's been two days since my realease and and my new regiment of practice has begun. Some of my billiard buddies have asked what is the nature of my new expletive I blurt out every time I miss a shot by 8.5" or less. I don't even realize I'm doing that! I must not be well yet!
