I have a good friend who has been on South West waiting list for 10 years and just got the call to finalize the order. Some might know him he goes to the DCC with me his name is Darren and is a 100 % stand up guy. He is considering selling his spot and is open to offers for the spot he has a couple weeks to make any changes to the cue. PM me and I will give you his cell number.

SW Waiting List

Does SouthWest let you transfer ownership or do you just have to have the cue built the way you want it by the other person?

why should SW care. It's another sold cue. No different than someone standing in line for an Iphone who gives up their spot to a person who paid them to stand there.

I'm not so sure they will let you transfer names on the spot/list...

If that's the case I been on it not long but around 3 years. I'll take a little cash and give up my spot. :-)

MAYBE. lol

I have a spot on Some guy named Dennis Searing's list.

I tried to give it away! It was the 24th spot two years ago. I called Mr Dennis to tell him that I wanted this nice guy that I had just bought a Scruggs cue from to have my spot! I said the guy told me in conversation that loved the Dennis's cues. I wanted to do something nice for him.
Both had the same response,They said: "Wow, you'd do that"?
Mr Dennis was dumdstruck. He couldn't believe it!
The best part of this story is I had no idea Scott and Dennis were best friends!!
I haven't talked with Dennis in a long time. He is a absolute joy to talk with! Mr Scott and I stay in touch. Heck of a way to make a friend.
I recomend it highly.
Good luck!
Nick:)

No...you can't transfer ownership of your spot.
If you decide to relinquish your spot they have their own list of
people who will move up and take your spot.

I can't believe they would care one way or another. I know Barry has no problem with it. It's your spot, if you want someone else to have it.........so be it.

Southwest Cue

Be prepared to pay, Laurie raised thier prices. There is a $200.00 sur charge on Tulipwood and Gaboon Ebony

Sw

I just checked my PM and a offer of $400 was made. I would encourage all people to call my friend direct to talk to him. You will have to go through him as SW will not let you change spots. He said he has a couple weeks to make any changes to the cue. The cue he had ordered was a birds eye maple 3 veneer ebony points with the extra rings and joint caps.
