I've got squirrels that knock on the window. I am sure if I opened it the little bastard would hop right in as if they owned the place.
I had one a couple of months ago that was carrying a peanut and was about to walk right past me and into the house with out so much as a by your leave.
 
I live in the woods, on a mountain, so I get every critter you can imagine.

Best way to handle the squirrels is to whack a couple, and leave them lay there dead for a while. Believe me, the others get the hint real quick. ;)

I hung a bird feeder with fishing line and stopped all the nonsense.
