I was at a local shop recently and saw a cue there that was marked on the butt SS by it's George. I have never seen a George cue marked this way, as he had a local cue shop and his older cues are all around our town(Shreveport, La.). He closed his shop several years back and I was told this cue was one of the last seven he made from his home after the shop closed. I want to make sure somebody hasn;t purchased the name and selling off of past reputation IE:Balabushka. It is a basic plain jane cue with ivory ferrule and butt cap. My question has anybody heard of this cue and is it worth picking up? He is a legend in our area which has several great cue guys(Bill Schick, Mike Wheeler, The guys at Bella Sera, and Jim Griffin at NORWELA).Please somebody shed some light on this as I would hate to miss picking this cue up if it is a good deal($350.00)
