Riverbend Billiards (Alton, IL) is having their monthly $500 added handicapped 9 ball tourney again this Sunday. If you are in the St Louis area you have to come check it out. These tournaments have been drawing good fields and paying between $500-$800 for 1st place!!. Come out and support a great St Louis area tournament

Entry Fee $25 ($15 to payback / $10 to green fee)
-100% Cash Payback (based on player field)
-$500 added to payback (With 32 or more players)
-Signup starts at noon
-Calcutta starts 1:00 pm
-Tournament starts following Calcutta
-BCA Rules / Double Elimination
-Handicapped / Loser Breaks
-Doors open at noon

Not sure about last month. I thought you posted the results last month? I think Mike Devers won.
 
It was a great turnout this month! 35 players! I am not sure who won. Mark your friend Sammy from up north was shooting very well and was deep in the winners bracket.....
 
Andy Hauschild was playin Sam Dyers? in winners. Greg Braswell and Nick Evans playin in losers when I left.

Tourney payouts were 512/286/133 calcutta was pretty weak. Most players for $10 a few for $20 and Nick Evans for $35
 
If anyone hasn't been there I would recommend it. I was very impressed with Riverbend's establishment!! :thumbup:
 
Next tourney?

The flyer said last Sunday for 8 ball , I always thought it was 2nd Sunday for 9 ball and 4th for 8 ball. Anyone know if it is 22nd or 29th?

It's on the last Sunday of every month so this month it would be the 29th.

I did not read past this post so?

Andy as an 8 won
Sammie as a 7 came in 2nd place, said he went hill hill
Nick Evans came in 3rd, I think he was a 5? not sure.

Payouts top heavy, so much so that people are driving in from 120 miles out to play in this event.

This tournament has become time prohibitive for me, Sammie said he did not get done until almost 1 a.m. and having to get up at 4 a.m. just does not work for me.:(

I am going to try and make, I go on afternoon shift on Monday and do not have to get up at 4 a.m. for a while.

Bring your cash and lets pump up the calcutta.

If you have $10 bucks buy me in the auction, kind of broke so I am going to try and win Sunday. Plus I get to sleep in on Monday.
