Docie, had to run me out when the place closed after the 8 ball tourney and the beer was ice cold.

Man, looks like this weekend I should just get a room in Alton! With the Robles/Glazebrook exhibition there friday night - and this on sunday... lol

Bump

I wonder if the pros are going to stick around for the tournament Sunday?!

Oh man... can you imagine what their spot would be? Like... 4 games on the wire and orange crush - going 5. lol!

Thanks to Brenden here are some details

People are interested in the payouts and who is cashing in this event prior to getting their feet wet by traveling over to Alton.

Mike Devers - 5 $400+ tourney and calcutta
Mike Wills - 5 not sure of other payouts
Minnow - 6
only paid out 3 places

Bobby - 6 got 4th

I got 5/6

27 players, calcutta pretty slow

MOST TOURNEYS PAY 1/4 OF THE FIELD? For some reason this tournament only pays 1/10 of the field so you better play good or else you will be in the 90 percent of players that DO NOT CASH.

Great tourneys $500 added based on 32. But payout percentages need review, imo. Same as the 8 ball tourney a couple weeks ago. Top heavy 10 percent of the field collects all the cash and 90 percent chase the $$$?????

Wow; gotta play strong to get through that field. And if Devers is only a 5... whew. I'll need a big spot. lol

calcutta

Jimmy was not there. I did not buy anyone. Calcutta was slow and I would have picked Minnow 1st, Wills 2nd and Devers or Bill Harwell 3rd.
