Just a reminder....Riverbend Billiards(Alton, IL) has a $500 added handicapped 9ball tourney on the 2nd Sunday of every month. If you are a St Louis area player, how lucky are we to finally have a regular money added tournament that is fair and on good equipment?! . Last weekend they had 23 players for the 8ball and it paid around $700 for 1st and it was Memorial Day weekend nonetheless! The tournaments are very fairly handicapped by Jimmy Eberhart. Great cheap food ($0.85 hamburgers?!?! really?!?!) :D

-Entry Fee $25 ($15 to payback / $10 to green fee)
-100% Cash Payback (based on player field)
-$500 added to payback (With 32 or more players)
-Signup starts at noon
-Calcutta starts 1:00 pm
-Tournament starts following Calcutta
-BCA Rules / Double Elimination
-Handicapped / Loser Breaks
-Doors open at noon

9-ball action

Tomorrow is the day....9-ball, $500 added and the best deal on burgers and pool in the area!!! Spend a little less than $3 on food/drink and you play pool from open to close for FREE until 6pm!!!

$500 added and CALCUTTA!!!!

Plus you get to play lobsters like me all day long....

$3? I spent more than that on soda

My bbq pork sandwich, crab rangoons and toasted raviolis ran me 10 bucks put Patrick broke and ran 6 balls in the ten ball and I got 60 bucks, then I broke and ran 5 balls and got 10 bucks. Then Jacob White broke and ran out and the break pot was cleared out.

Only 15 showed up for the final Zims Rack event @ Riverbend.
Thanks Mike.

well the wife said Alton or Kirksville !!!

So, I am taking Dustin Dunham to Kirksville next Saturday and playing with my pups today.

Any results?

I wish I had the results but unfortunately I got crushed and took off early

I do know that there was a great turnout again! 32 players!

I know 1st place tournament was $490 and 1st calcutta was $280 so it was obviously a good pay day for someone! All in all great tournament again and I cant wait for the next one!

Hopefully Jimmy will POST

With this tournament being 2 times a month, one in each discipline it would be wise for the TD to post payouts and results

32 players you pay 1/4 of the field
and 4 places in the auction.

Would be interested in payouts, might be worth driving over for the auction.:eek::eek:
