looking for recomendation for someone to install two stack wraps

I'd say got to the source. Send it to Tiger Products. Stands to reason they'd do the best job. I had them do one for me and it was about as good as it could be done.

Hi Joe,

Tiger's guy is as good as they get. I think they charge $150 installed and it's a two day turn around. The important thing about the job is that it's level to the cue and applied and sealed properly. This takes some skill and patience. The gentleman they have there has done thousands.

Corey Harper is a pro player out here and works for Tiger. Corey is very good at suggesting wraps and at customer service. I gave Corey my cue to do a wrap and a sniper tip. it came back with a perfect job, a new tip, a cleaned and polished shaft, and a new rubber bumper. The shaft stayed polished for months. They charge fair prices for their work.

If you'd like, send me an email pic of your cue and I may have a sample pic of something to match.

Stack Wraps are $150 which includes return ground shipping insured to 1k (you pay the difference for expedited shipping or additional insurance).

Our turnaround is pretty good, however next week we'll be at the Super Billiards Expo so if anyone is shipping a cue to us, wait until after the show.

There are also many experienced Stack users out there; Theirry Layani, Dave Jacoby, Rick at Seyberts, Mueller & Mike Gulyassy to name a few.

South East contact Steve Lomax. North East contact Sheldon Lebow. Or come to Valley FOrge and get it don in person from Tiger or Steve. Steve will be in the booth L13. I forget Tiger's booth #.

Thanks for the plug Corey. Yes, we can install the stack wrap here at Muellers. PM for any info.

Well I gotta be the only guy on the website that doesn't know..

What's a Stack Wrap?

DJ
Well think of a flat leather boot lace that is wrapped around the handle area somewhat (but not quite) like linen is.

See it here

Hey Joe,
Do a search here for one of my posts about Richard Hsu (RJH cues). http://www.rjhcustomcues.com/ He does the BEST Stack Leather wrap, in my opinion. Alot of guys have something that they're best at, and for Stack Leather installs it is Richard Hsu.

In that thread you'll see some pics of the last one I had him install for me. He puts on Stack Leather like it's painted on. The cue I play with everyday has a black stack leather wrap that Richard installed. Most guys look at it and wonder how the hell stack leather can look & feel so good.

He is a true Artist and does really great work.
