Staking Tournament players

I had a friend of mine that used to play a lot of online poker. He was a member of a site that would connect poker players with potential stakers. Stakehorses would review their stats and the player would post what he wanted to play.

Example:
PLay a 20 +2 tourny, 10+1 tourny, and a 50+5 tourny. Total needed 88$
It could be as much as 1 person or a few could take a piece of the action. What about having somethng like this for pool players? There are a ton of amatuer events now. Seems like someone could get this going. Sorry is this has been posted before.

I definitely like the idea as well! Can you do a little research and see if there is anything like this out there for some other 'sports'?

I'll take a look into this evening and see what it would take to create.

As far as sports, no not that I could find. I beleive poker is the only thing this is done with. With the poker it actually runs quite smooth. I think this would be a great way of filling up tournaments and bringing in more interest from others. Hell if enough people get into the staking part, it would be similar to a fantasy league lol.

still very capable 9-ball and now 10-ball player !

Gpeezy, your idea is as good as your avatar! It could be advertised on the streams with OTR,TAR, and Bigtruck's stream!

I think we'd make players fill out a Match.com profile so people can bet on who they like. :grin:
 
Well, I will start it off and back SVB, Orcullo, and Ralf in any 9 or 10-ball tournament they play. What can I say-I like to take risks sometimes!:wink:
