So what do you do when you recover a table that has old glued cloth on it? Meaning how do you get it off when it has been glued on with that super strong glue?

The cloth will peel of very nicely when pulled in the opposite direction from the bond. When done properly the cloth is only glued along the 1 inch vertical side of the slate, none on the playing surface and none on the wooden slate frame. A pass or two with a razor scraper and your back to clean slate...It's that simple...:smile:

I think tack strips are cool, very easy to use. Working with a company now to modify them so they have more tacks. 3 inch stretch is easy with these. Wax is to fill holes so you don't feel them under the rails, I think everyone does that right. thanks John
