where are they?
there are of course bits and pieces here (shout and thanks to those that make azb work, atlarge) and there, but generally, there isn't a great (online) pool stats database, is there?
I love watching old accu-stats, billiard club etc. coverage where they show how players match up stats-wise- breaking down those stats can shine light on those players as well as the game in general.
in particular, it would be sweet to pore over a head-to-head stats database with dates, locations, format, equipment, etc. then you could get detailed with it...
I think organized stats would help fans see the game in different ways, and would help attract new/renewed interest in the game, if that were a desirable thing.
I guess if pool were more unified organization-wise, something like a stats database would occur more naturally, but here we are.
