Just thinking about all our friends in Florida during this latest hurricane.

There are a lot of folks here on the board from the area and let's hope that they all keep dry and safe.

This sure has been a horriffic year for natural disasters.

Safe and sound here. Power flickered a few times but that was about it. Couple of small trees downed, will need them uprighted, but no damage to report. Fence is leaning more as well now that I look at it.

Nothing major, happy to say storm has passed and now it's just windy and sunny. Much cooler and more welcomed weather.

Yes be Safe!

I talked to my Dad who lives in Jupiter and they lost their deck this morning. Wind ripped it right off the foundation and joist boards connecting it to the house. Not fun.

Yep, stay dry and safe in the Sunshine State ! My friend's aunt has an apartment in West Palm Beach, I hope it's still in one piece when she returns there within a few weeks. Nice place, have visited the area back in 1999. I wish I'd known these pool folks here in AzB back then, might've enjoyed a few racks and a few pitchers :p

Hope everyone comes through Wilma without any damage.

I'm kind of wondering how MacGuy fared...

My brother lives in south Miami, maybe 2 or 3 miles from the University of Miami and I talked to him about 11:00 am this morning. All power was out at the time and he sustained a bunch of really bad tree damage. Some very expensive trees that he planted years ago in the front of his yard were down and laying across the street. His swimming pool (unscreened)looked like a trash dump from all of the palm fronds, limbs, leaves, and other vegetation that now filled it. His back yard was a mess also. He wasn't able to assess any house damage because the rain was still pelting down along with heavy wind.

Well I just saw on the National News that Wilma is gonesky from FLA and is now heading towards the Northeast towards New England. We're expecting a Nor'Easter tomorrow from her sucking down the Jet Stream so low. Yeouzaaaaa!!!

LIVE from Hurricane Central...no power for 3.2 MILLION people...damage to everything, roads are horride and tempers will begin to flare today. Had two sliding windows cave in during Wilma's fury and spent the day clearing trees from the road leading to our complex. Cant get in contact with my family in West Palm due to phones being down...its a mess. Reporting from Downtown Miami, where the generators work great...VOODOO out!!

Yup. Ive been working throughout the entire storm. Im going to be working crazy hours for the next few weeks while we try to get power back up. Its going to suck but with all this overtime maybe I might be able to pick up a new cue or too. I guess I have to look at the brighter side of things

Two friends ..

Just stay safe down there.

Two Pool buddies of mine are down there doing Swimming Pool
enclosures. They are backlogged up to 3 years. They probably
knocked off work, and went and found a Pool table somewhere ..
