I personally couldnt live with a waiting list 50 customers long k owing that I wouldnt get to satisfy my most recent customer within a calendar year. And by the time you ever begin making a custom order their deposit has long since been spent. Time for a new gameplan
 
Steve left a voicemail on Jeff's phone, he's glad to remind him that 3 cues have been shipped to and sold by Jeff already and their deal is concluded.
 
Well well, that sure explains EVERYTHING now doesn't it, ? I'll wait to reply when Jeff talks to Steve on the phone

Yea man I agree. Got to be a real tough field. I hate doing this on the forums but any one person I can help from getting screwed I feel like I have done my part. These deadbeats and clowns that believe anything they say just kill me. I mean do your part and make a deal right, don't f"@$ people over and all of this can be avoided. Steve goes by "Nucue" if I recall correctly on here and doesn't even have the balls to come on here and post. What a coward!! He is not smart enough to realize if he keeps f@&$ing people over it is no good for him.

Many of your posts lately are about this matter. Your man traded 2 bummy cues for 3 new customs, and is now demanding a 4th for some reason.

He acknowledged to Steve that he got 3 cues, so no one got screwed here.

Steve promised several months from November, 5 2014.

What will it take ideologist, does Martin Bick need to speak with him again and give him a kick in the ass to make a deal right like he did in the thread linked above?
 
Patrick (ideologist) Steve called Jeff and said "this is Steve Klapp give me a call". Jeff has called Steves number 309-361-7162 3 times in the last 30 minutes only to get his voice box that is full! He left him no message saying the deal was done, lol. Tell him when his phone rings in 5 minutes FROM RIGHT NOW to hit the answer button and talk through the speaker.
 
Wow!!! Steve answers and plays dumb asking how many cues have been delivered. Let me just ask this Steve, if you didn't know or forgot that you owed a cue, why did you take all of Jeffs dimensions and wood combo and agree to make the cue in November? When did you totally forget those numerous conversations about the cue that was supposed to be being built? Now you play dumb and act like you aren't quite sure? Do you really think anyone is that stupid? You are laughable sir!!! Did you think he was going to purchase another cue from you when he never got over $375 for a practically brand new 8 point klapp. Then saying you only got $500 for the Richard Black you sold. He got WAY the worse of the deal! Your cues brand new and on the secondary market provide us with that information. So don't think you are fooling anyone saying they got the best of the deal. Anyway, I guess he feels like he did in November over 8 months ago when you were just starting his cue you owed. Now you say you aren't set up for 6 pointers but have some 4 pointers in the works and will get it out soon. Just so you know I will bump this thread and make the thread I intending on doing when I get slowed down for the season and bump it and let everyone know every single time I am allowed. You haven't answered a call in 4 months now and it takes this for you to answer a phone call. Just pay what you owe buddy and you won't have these issues to deal with. The conversation ended in you saying you had a phone call and had to go but would call to get specs tomorrow. I can update this weekly and will after about a month or so once you start avoiding calls and playing dumb again, and I will.
 
Had a few good chats with Steve about 6 months ago right before he moved and after he was in his new residence. Steve made a Delran Butt Cap for me and it worked out ok.

We had conversations about a custom and some potential business opportunities for him here where I live in the SF Bay Area. He was excited about his new prospects and said he was going to be producing some lower end $600 affordable customs to 'blow away' the competition.

I held off on getting a cue, but I did order and pay him for a custom extension for one of my cues he said he could 'knock out' within a week so I figured a month + the way the business generally goes so I sat tight.

After a month or so of so I called to touch base about my order and got his VM. Left message and waited a week or so to no avail. Called again, and again with no luck. Then I started emailing, texting etc here and there but no reply from Steve thinking what happened to this guy ? Is he OK ?

I am still surprised and blown away by Steve's lack of business sense and integrity. And yes, I have heard many other stories of builds gone bad. Loose a good potential customer and contact over a extension ? I have given up trying to contact him as he is dodging and am thankful I did not get stuck and pull the trigger for a cue.

I hope all works out for the customers that have paid him there hard earned money for and been promised product. I also wish Steve the best and hope he gets the help he needs.

Sorry to hear about that Kat. Steve is the most happy go lucky, greatest communicator in the world until he gets the money. He plays the "I am a victim" game better than I have ever seen. When he first started 5-6 years ago with the cue refinishes and I ordered a cue from him. I said man this guy is alright. When I never received my 2nd shaft boy did the feel sorry for me lines start coming out. He was talking about the guys that worked with him were sorry etc, how he was going to get a job at John Deere and had the job. Then of course that fell through. He told me there was a guy that was going to buy him 40k worth of cue building equipment just because he is such a great guy, lol. Of course that must have fell through. Then he was moving to The Charlotte area which I think he did for a while. He talked about Sam that worked for him being the greatest cue helper ever and did flawless work, then Jeff told me yesterday that when he talked to him this Friday (after it took a play by play of post to get him to answer his phone)that he was not worth a shit and cutting corners left and right etc and let him go. The guy definitely has some probs and lives in a fantasy world! ideologists comes in here saying that Jeff admitted the deal was done and that Steve was sure to tell that it was a done deal. Just rambling what obviously Steve has told him. Not knowing what the hell he is even talking about and not knowing the deal (When in post number 14 of the thread linked I replied to Ideologist declining Steves offer to make he trade good by offering a plain Jane, which i told him Jeff declined because that wasn't the trade.) I know if I were ideologist I wouldn't say another word on this thread because he has probably realized his hero Steve is slap full of shit by now.
Anyway, it is ashamed at how many people he has flat out Stolen from on the message board that he is even allowed on here. From the Tim Scruggs plus money on the thread linked, from you, from the guy that bought the cue for his son that Martin Bick had to call him to tell him to do the right thing on. I mean really, a grown man doing his type of trash to people on this board. What a piece of trash!! I wont count the shaft he never sent me because I finally left him a voicemail letting him know that he could keep the shaft if he was that desperate for money. Jeff was going to post everything years ago when he got screwed but like you, we thought maybe something had happened to the guy and he was gone out of the cue world. Then he listed 9 cues last November when Jeff called and Steve agreed to make the cue he screwed him over on along with the 2nd shafts for all of the other cues he has already received. He pulled the same move with me on my cue, I just wanted you to get this cue in your hands it's so pretty, I'll get that shaft out to you next week, lol. Yeah right buddy!! He did with Jeff each time too. Anyway, Jeff asked him who owned the 9 cues ideologist had listed and Steve said he owned them. The next day Jeff calls Steve and just says he will take any one of the pointed cues just to be done with him. Steve claims he sold ALL 9 cues that morning, LMAO, LOL. Lie after lie after lie dealing with this clown man I am telling you. He is supposed to get the cue out for the second time now and complete it in 2 months. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. If it isn't resolved by November there will be a long, long thread with everything but with the title a little bit differently, it won't say Steve klapp contact info. You will know exactly what it is about by the title. I don't care how many piss poor excuses he has!! It will be linked in my signature as well ;). I mean it's only fair to warn people that are considering dealing with him? I sure would be appreciative if I was the one considering spending money with an individual like this. I think I'll need to make that thread anyway just to help those not knowing. Rip people off over and over and over again, Shame on you.
