Hello to everyone.A little while back when I first became a member of az billiards I was looking for someone to put a refinish on two of my cues.These cues were made by among the top cue makers in the world with one being in the hall of fame. I have tried calling these cuemakers many times with them not answering their phones nor returning my messages. One day I was on az and seen a thread about refinishing special which was steve klapp,so I went through and read all the reviews which were excellent and decided to send my cues to him. I called him and he answered right away. Steve was extremely nice and told me he would have my cue looking like new when I recieved it. I could tell this man had a passion for pool and took great pride in his work. I told him how much I love nice looking woods that blend well together. He then told me about a cue he had for sale that was almost completed with bubinga forearm and buttsleeve with a nice cocobola handle with his silver-brass-silver ringwork.He then sent me pics of the cue and I thought the cue was really sharp and agreed to purchase it. He then shipped the cue to me and I immediatley took it to my pool table and started hitting balls with it.I am here to tell ya, I loved this cue is putting it mildly and I have never played with a cue that hits this good in my life and I've had some very expensive cues by the top cuemakers in world, (which I am not going to mention because that would not be fair to them).I loved this cue so much I put in a order for 3 more cues from him.1st cue=African blackwood forearm and buttsleeve with curly pyinma handle with 6 points up(3 high and 3 (low) with 6 points low(3 high and 3 low).2nd cue=Ebony forearm and buttsleeve with snakewood handle with 6 points up(3 high and 3 low) with 6 points down(3 high and 3 low) and finally a full splice up and down butterfly cue.I am not doing this review because I am steve klapp's personal friend( I have never meet the man nor is he giving me anything in return).I am doing this review because this man wants to make sure his customers are very satisfied with his work,very nice and listens to what you have to say,takes great pride in his work,has a passion for pool and last but not least makes you a great cue at a great price and stands behind it 100% for life.I almost never post threads on here nor get into anyones buisness, but since getting this cue from steve I have improved my game by at least 2 balls in 9 ball. I am playing now with so much confidence its amazing.Can you tell I am happy?You dang right I am. I will post pics of my 3 cues on order as steve sends them to me.Thanks so much steve!!!
