Not sure if anyone knows much about Steve. He lives in North Georgia and has been making cues for quite a while. He was a Meucci dealer for a long time and part owner of Bunjee. He has been making custom cues for a few years now. Currently I know that Stevie Moore has been playing with one of his cues for quite a while and he swears by it. Steve also makes a great jump cue and a great jump/ break cue. I got a chance to hit with Stevie's cue and a couple of other cues Steve made this past weekend in Atlanta, and I must say Im very impressed with his work. I talked with Steve and he is in the beginning phase of making me one of his custom cues. I think he is a great up and coming cue maker and you will be hearing alot about his cues in the future. Im excited....cant wait for the new "weapon".

Bump Bump, i have *0002 of his cues and shoot with them , they fill great and nice workman ship as old man i shot not to often but would give ther a #1 rating as far as STEVE, nice guy that back up what he says!!!

Steve's a super guy and makes a great hitting cue. Jim Jennings is also playing with a Lomax.

Louie Ulrich is also playing with his cues he has a matching set break and playing that are both yellow/lime green color. I dont knowthe exact color but it almost looks fluorescent.

I have a Lomax jumper I got from Shannon and I have to say it is the best jumper I have ever used, bar none.

I also had a nice cue Steve made and I was playing with it until I let a buddy play with it and he had to have it.

Steve makes a great cue and his repair work is also top notch. Anyone looking to have some touchup done on a cue or a new wrap can't go wrong with Steve.

His # is 706-776-1252. Give him a call, he is a great guy as well as a great "cue" guy.

I spent many hours in steve's shop and i can tell u that you will not find to many cuemakers as picky about there work as steve is.I am currantly using a titlist conversion that steve made for me.And i can tell anyone this is the best hitting cue i have owned.Anyone looking for work or purchasing a cue won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough nice things about Steve and his cues. Steve is one of my best friends in pool and one hell of a guy. I have been privileged to own several of his jump/break cues and they are the nuts. He builds a pretty sporty playing cue too.

I just got off the phone with Steve and he is making me another cue. I called him to tell him about this thread and I ended up asking him to make me a stick because they are probably the best deal going for a great custom cue. He told me his making a cue for Larry Nevel as well. If you want a cue you better get in now because he is getting busier everyday.

Cool...I have known Steve ever since I got into playing pool and yes he has always been a stand up guy. If you told him about this thread and me getting him to make me a cue after talking this past weekend, then he knows its me. I wish him well.

Hey big D , what do they hit like? And how is the balance as far as the weight?

I'm waiting on my jump cue & a good friend is waiting on his playing cue!

Believe me it is well worth the short wait for the quality workmanship

that Steve puts in to his cues! Look great, feel great, & play awesome!!

Give one a try,you won't be disappointed.( They are a players cue )

I have one and think it plays awesome!!!!!

They are great cues man. Hard to say about balance but I would call them more neutral than anything. I had a 60" cue that weighed over 19.5 and it
was balanced well and played good. I sold it to Randy Vaughn because he hit some with it and like it a lot.

If you call him tell him you are my bud and he will treat you good.

Is there a website? I'm interested in the jump cue version- is it different than a regular Bungee?

They give the regular bunjee the 7 in terms of jumping with control. He made Stevie one a while back, when Stevie was playing with a Nitti, that matched his Nitti to a T. I know Bruce Berrong uses a Lomax jump cue also and he loves it. I dont think you can go wrong.

Remember the Berrong / Archer match at Pop's where I took Archer at 2 to 1 after Bruce was already up 3 or 4 to nothing? That was a great match.

That was probably the best match I have ever seen in person. Bruce had him 12-5 in a race to 13 and only got to kick at a ball 1 time after that. Johnny put on an exibition that was unbelieveable. Sux for Bruce, he played perfectly and still lost. Johnny showed why he is one of the greatest 9 ball players that has ever lived that day.

Jennings is a pretty decent player. What's Jim been up to?
