hi all, like the title says, as far as i'm concerned,i have made my peace with steven and have forgiven him for his end of the trade.i received the bludworth on friday.steve has apologized for our misunderstanding and said he was sorry for his actions.good enough for me.we all have used poor judgement at some time.i don't think steven is a bad guy.stuff happens.i told steve that if you screw up on the forum, the forum will call you on it.however i also told him if you make it right and in fact admit your wrong, the forum will give you a second chance.i hope i'm right.steve, lesson learned, keep people posted when you say you will.thats all it would have taken.none of this had to happen.thanks again forum members for your quick support. george aka magix

George, You know you are my brother through all times of peace and war. I am glad that this didn't turn into what we have seen as a bad sign of the times. As long as I still have a heartbeat, I will always do what I can for the kid from the place where every sports team has won a ring! ;) Bless you and yours George! Ryan

I'm glad it worked out, George.

Folks -- this is yet another instance of problems caused (at least partially) by poor communication. Whether you are the buyer or the seller, if anything changes regarding what you last told the other party, communicate again with him/her. Don't just fail to do what you said you would do. If circumstances arise that prevent you from doing what you said you would do, immediately communicate with the other party to bring them up to date. Don't just leave the other party hanging, thinking something is going to happen and then it doesn't. Communicate, communicate, communicate.

[And how I wish more cue makers also followed this practice.]

I had a nice sized bet with him on the TAR match. He posted up and we had good communication. Seemed ok to me.
