I'm glad to see that my buddy Stevie Moore finished with a 4-0 record in the first round. He's got to be at least even money to get through the next round as well.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike

You know I was sweating his matches all day yesterday, for a few hours they had his win against Miller reversed.
Oh, and they are using my portrait of him on their site :) too bad it is so tiny, it is a really nice picture of him.
I had a feeling he would really shine in this event, he has so much heart and it is time he (and everyone else) finds out how good he really is.

Hey Mike! I was delighted to see how well Stevie did. And my pal Sammy Jones made it through his round as well. Both, however, will have to really bring it for the next round. I can't wait!

Potier had him down 7-4 in his first match and Moore came back to win 8-7. That confidence boost stayed with him and he won his last three matches in a tough group.

I was running the qualifier he won in Raleigh to get there, and watched several of his matches there. He was playing very well there, and I suspect he has been putting in a lot of table time since then to get ready. I hope he does well. I was very impressed with not only his game, but the fact that he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

From the homepage go to the tournament coverage, click on Browse by Group and then click on the group heading (ex. Group 1) to get the roundrobin scoresheet for that group.

Groups 21 to 40 played yesterday and the rest play today.

You, sir, are the wind beneath my IPT-site-challenged wings. Thanks! :D

Just joking with you, it has just been the talk of the forum for weeks so it was just a little shocking, esp this being the biggest tournament ever!

No problem. Sometimes i surprise myself with these types of remarks. I get to talking before i'm thinking. Go figure:rolleyes:

Mike, Stevie is a good friend of mine here in Atl. He is so solid i would say he is better than even money to advance out of the next round. Stan James has him as a 300 to 1 to win the tournament, so being somewhat of a betting man i placed a small $100.00 wager on him. He always shines in the tough events so i like those odds.

How is Mike?? stick here, keep me posted on stevies proggres, good friend and fellow golfer, a super guy, go get them !!!!! good luck STICK
