I bought a table that has a couple of stickers on it.

Any suggestions on how to remove them? They seem to be pretty well affixed:lol:

Might not bother me, if it was another #!

Goof-off works pretty well.

It really depends on the finish. You want to be sure whatever you use is not going to destroy your finish. I would begin by trying to peal off as much by hand as possible. Then use whateve type of solvent you prefer. But I would test it on a small area that is not noticable. I would suggest WD40 might do the trick if you use patience along with it. :)

i think all of the suggestions will work. If your table is the one in the photo,
looks like a hollywood? I believe the aprons on them are a laminate so a
hair dryer with some of the above mentioned items should do the trick.

Thanks for all the input, AZBrethern!

I will be happy to get lucky# 13 off that table!

Good call, Scruffy! YOu are correcet.

Believe it or not, I've used lighter fluid to remove all sorts of goo off all sorts of tools. I was a foundation waterproofer and a mason for a while and got plenty of tar and other sticky solutions on plenty of household objects. Lighter fluid always did the trick.

Lighter fluid is also sold in quarts. It's called Naptha. Cheaper than those little cans that taste bad when you open 'em with your teeth.

put a different sticker that you like over it! I like goof off or a heatgun on low heat with a razor blade to get an edge started.

I mentioned this to a buddy of mine who does work on cars, his suggestion was to use heat gun (low)/ hair dryer and sneak thru the back side with dental floss.

I believe I shall debadge my car while I am at it!

Another thing that might work that I use for taking mylar off pinball machine playfields is to use a can of bottled air. Just get a side of the sticker started and then slowly pull it off while spraying the air at the edge of the sticker that is still connected. I think this works because the air is really cold and causes the glue to become fragile. This method will leave a little residue which can then easily be removed using the previously mentioned naptha.

That is a great looking table but the pockets look awfully tight to me!:D
They are tight! I played on it for 3 shots before I bought it and humped it out to the truck. I didn't make a ball:wink: !
