When looking online to buy a replacement/spare shaft for my cue how can I tell if the shaft is stiff &/or whippy?

Or is it a case of caveat emptor when buying online because many places won't give that sort of information.

Their shafts have a fiber glass resin over the maple dowel.
To stop it from warping,
In other words the OEM shaft will shoot stiff.

I can make you a shaft, what do you want ? some thing stiff or whippy.
Pm me if interested .

If you want a low-deflection shaft take a look at the OB line -- they're very upfront about the stiffness of their cues. The OB1 and OB2 are a soft hit (I wouldn't call them whippy, but that's a relative term). The OBClassic and OBPro have a stiffer hit.
