Since we have a thread from 2011 I'll comment.
The stiffest cue I've owned was one masonh cue that was maple and cocobolo, one of his second set of cues. I owned a bunch of them, and that one was 57" and had a really stiff taper.
I've had 2 or 3 sugartree's, and they hit very well, but not as stiff of a taper.
Currently have a really stiff hitting sneaky with the second shaft. It has a stiff tapered shaft. With the other shaft it is nearly as stiff.
I think hit is subjective enough to be hard to make a list. The cue with the stiffest hit I've played with was a old kersenbrock or perhaps a southwest.
