stiffness

That would been a 13mm (or bigger) with an eurotaper. Don't think someone would like an eurotaper on big tipsize shaft.

With a pro taper, perhaps the meucci black dot?

The Predator Z shaft is stiff.... Amazingly stiff for how thin it is....

It is the stiffest of all the ones i have played with.... (OB-1, 314, tiger, Z)

Is the hit of any Predator shaft considered stiff, or is only the Z a stiff hit? For me a predator shaft feels extremely whippy, I don't feel as though I am making solid contact with the ball at all.

For me a stiff hit would be a schon with a smaller taper shaft.

I do not consider Predator to be "Stiff" Id say Predator has a medium Hard firmness, with less feel than a simular hitting cue with about the same "Hit" or firmness.

The Starkey Laminated shaft with buck horn ferrule, and joint with a Morri hard is the most stiff shaft, tip ,ferrule combination I have tried, and amazingly I liked it very much.

I agree. But to some peoples, when a shaft has lesser feel (like the Pred.), it "feel" stiff, because of the lesser feedback. Don't think it can call stiff or solid, it's just a "dead" hit/feedback. I've played with a few laminated shaft, they all feel dead to me.

You know, the Starkey shaft, being laminated didnt feel dead at all to me, the cue enhanced my stroke, what I mean is when I shoot easy with my regular cue, and shoot the same speed with the Starkey I generated more spin and speed. Previously the really stiff cues I had tried just basicaly sucked, and I didnt enjoy playing, I had fun playing with the Starkey, and did enjoy my time spent at the table with it...

I wouldnt pursue a super stiff hittting cue other than a Starkey, because all the previous Stiff cues I hated, the Starkey IMHO is a ball making machine, I surely wouldnt enter a trick shot competition with one, but I would use one to try to best my longest run..

Schuller
...

I play with a Shuler daily, I agree more stiff than maybe a Schon, with feel but THE STIFFEST?

I can say no matter what tip I install on my Schuler it rocks, Ive never owned a cue like this, and yes Schuler is my favorite Production type cue for sure.
