Wow ... glad you "escaped". It doesn't look pretty but it could have been so much worse. Very glad it wasn't.

Thanks for the kind words folks. Thankfully we have a gas water heater so we can still take showers and wash dishes but I think we will have to make a trip to the laundry mat tonight to wash our clothes. It sounds like we wont have power until Friday at the earliest.

The oil lanterns work better than I thought they would for playing pool but the light diffusion is pathetic!
It's time to crack open a bottle of my homemade wine and BBQ some dinner when I get home.

Good to hear that you are safe and well, property damage can always be repaired. On a lighter note, we had a tornado watch all thru Sunday nite, I told my wife if the tornado sirens started going off that we needed to rush to the basement to lay ON the pool table to protect it
