I couldn't get on the site a few days ago so I checked in at the cue chalk board. There was a thread about drawing the ball, which is iffy for me, so I started a new thread over there, asking a few people to post clips of their stroke. Great thread if you want to go looking for it.[/sarc]
Anyway, I spent a few hours working on my stroke at DannyK's last night, and got some coaching from Ramin (thank you so much). I had my little Casio EX-Z75 with me so I made a short clip and uploaded it to google:

It plays a little choppy on my old 400 MHz iMac, so I also put it on my site (I make ignition timing controllers), but it takes a while to load:

Compare that to an earlier clip of me playing eight ball on a bar table:

You can see that I was extending my fingers on my backstroke, and my follow through was stunted. My grip just curled up and prevent any forward movement.
