I'm posting for my friend, Jim Weast. Jim lives in Inola,Ok. and plays out of Magoos' in Tulsa. He recently had a break-in at his shop/poolroom in Inola. Among items stolen was a one-off Auerbach cue. Cue is hard to miss due the amount of turquoise in it. I don't have pics of cue but if anyone's seen a Auerbach lately please call Jim at 918-636-7388.

I have pictures of allot of the cues I have sold.
Does the maker have a photo of the cue or the previous owner ?
Without a picture, I consider that a issue ....

With some cues these days proving to be quite a weighty investment, would it not be a wise move to incorporate an electronic beacon during the build? Something akin to the tiny collar-tags one can buy to help locate a lost pet. Those gizmos, paired up to an owner's cellphone, can zero in to ten metres or thereabouts. No good if your stolen cue has been shipped out of town, of course, but it would help if the thief had secreted it relatively close to home.
