Storing a GC2 in Florida Humidity

I recently moved back to Florida and need to store my GC2 for about a year while I find a permanent place to live.

I did a search and it seems like the best way is for the slates to be stored standing up, but couldn’t find anything on whether the humidity would hurt the table or slates.

Does anyone know if I need a temperature controlled warehouse for the actual pool table?

Thanks, Mike

High humidity is not ideal, but it can be dealt with, with a little common sense.
The most important thing is avoiding quick and/or drastic changes in temp or humidity over and over again. A table can acclimate to a variety of conditions but try to keep the conditions as consistent as possible.

Don't stack or store any parts under stress or weight (from other parts etc).
Protect parts from moisture absorption thru the floor (like bare concrete) with plastic tarps or equivalent. Label all parts obnoxiously well...etc etc

Thanks. That is really good information and nice to hear. The temperature controlled storage around here is expensive.
