Storing cue shaft

Just looking for ideas as my sons extra cue shafts are needing a place for storage. Maybe the word storage isnt right.... we have cases, we have a cue holder, but I'm looking for something that will hold a few extra shafts when not together with the butt end.

Something other than the cases we have. What does everyone else do here that doesnt use their case?

They make hanging things for shafts, but most people just keep the spare shafts in a case, either one bought for storage or their main one. https://www.amazon.com/Billiard-Sti...ocphy=9001834&hvtargid=pla-478473528474&psc=1

I don't think I have seen anyone not keep shafts in a case. I guess you can just stick them in a cue holder https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BHQV35...&pd_rd_r=9b66369b-91c2-11e8-bb65-89337eb223e8

Just shafts?

JB can make you a case for just shafts.

You can also maybe consider a violin bow case.

You can get them for 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, or more bows. Musicians and bow collectors use them. Yes, there are bow collectors. I have never tried it, but came across them and thought they would be cool for shafts.

Another option might be an arrow case. This one is only $14. Makes you wonder why Longoni cases are so expensive.

A cheapo soft case would likely hold quite a few shafts, if storage and not transportation is the point.

Hang 'em in the inside corners in your living room and den like where you might hang a fern. For the size of some ferns I've seen, you could hang 15 or 20 shafts!
Tell the wife the plant died and you replaced it with modern art. ~ LOL

Pvc

I live in Florida where humidity can be a problem. I hang some extra shafts in the closet inside capped PVC tubes. I place a few packets of silica inside the airtight tubes to remove the moisture. If humidity is not a problem, just leave out the silica.

This is a cheap and easy solution.
