Straight arm or no straight arm?

it just doesnt matter and is personal preference. people here are trying too hard to make pool a simple formula so they can either get better quicker, or think whatever they are doing is perfect.

the effect it is wrong for them to change things that feel natural.

take pro baseball players. they all have a different stance, swing ,and way they look at the ball coming at them at 90 miles per hour.

why don't they standardize it like the pool players are trying to do. its because they use their natural feel and talent to hit the ball.
This is a self fulfilling trojan. :ROFLMAO:

best stroke keeps its same speed, from a little before the cue ball to some short time after.

if cue stick is truly accelerating, how can you be precise in the speed when it hits the cue ball.
I promise you, most of the best players accelerate up to contact, then as power is transfered the cue naturally slows, unless you push the cue through the ball, which you shouldn't do. My posting will be eratic tonight as I have a migraine.

yes most do but that doesnt mean its the best stroke just what is more natural. but you are right as that is the most pronounced and used.
but level speed is the best if you can attain it, which of course is almost impossible to do exactly.
take two aspirin and masturbate and your headache will be gone.
