Straight pool attracts a better class
of player than 9 ball
It is refreshing to see the courtesy and sportsmanship displayed.
The language used is higher class as well

Straight pool basically doesn't attract any players, That's the point. You sure as shit don't show it on the PPV stream over the final rounds of elite matches of the main tournament. You use it as filler, which is what these little side events are.
You do realize that its the same players as the other events right? So the guys are trash when they play 9ball, banks, and 1 hole, but they are high class when they play straight pool????

Don't you think it's a scam? They purposely stream just enough good games to get buyers but leave out good matches for their dvds later? I'm sure the good matches will be offered for sale soon

I thought they only recorded on the stream table...
Oh I might be mistaken. Thought they record a lot of matches that aren't streamed for a full DVD set thing later on.

Here's another question... for the last few matches, Mark said these are internet only before the stream started. Does that mean you won't be able to buy the semis or the finals on DVD? I thought that was quite odd...
