"Stream" of thoughts on Chinese 8ball

First off, great stream. REALLY dig the lack of commentary, just the "click" of the balls. As to the game, well, there's no denying the accuracy and level of precision required but there's something lacking: excitement. After 3 or 4 games it gets kinda old, to me anyway. I'm sure its a challenge to play but not that fun to watch. One thing for sure: whoever snags the trophy is one straight shooting dude. This completes my 'stream" of thoughts. Thanks for reading.

I agree on no commentary or little, sometimes less is more. I stream many hours and doing commentary can burn you out after awhile but listening to poor commentary or blabbering for hours can ruin the experience also.

Lenny, i have no problem with commentary when they stick to what's happening on the table. Its when they talk about dinner or new tires for their boat trailer that kills me. Watched the Chinese 8ball today and the silence was truly golden.

Just had time this morning to watch a few minutes, but the match I watched struck me as much more "strategic" (for lack of a better word) than US pro 8 ball. There was safety play, breaking out clusters, and even some potting misses, rather than break and runs.

Strategic is probably the best description. With those pockets & rails you can't freestroke at all.

I watched Peach play last night for a while...there was lots of commentary.
.....in Chinese.

If those guys aren't around today.....
...well, you know the China's annoying habit of capital punishment....

I must have got lucky this morning. ZERO commentary. Nice change of pace for sure.

I'd love top play on those tables some. When to players duck over running 3 or 4 balls, they must be tough pockets. I watched the Peach match and he was very conservative. Didn't see any break and runouts. Position play has to be perfect.

Anybody know what hours they play...trying to figure the EST equivalent.

They are 12 hours ahead of US EDT. So it is 2:41 Wednesday morning (the 16th) there now.

Somewhere out there, the Chinese equivalent of AZ is probably a counterpart thread commenting on the lack of Chinese commentary on US Streams.
