Stream table at Asian 9 ball open

Best i've seen JC play in a while. In good form right now fo sho.
On the stream Karl said he caught him in the hallway and asked why he was playing so fast. JC said he was playing his normal speed in prior tournaments but noticed he was getting indecisive and tentative in his stroke (missing easy shots). So he decided to intentionally speed up. It seems to be working for him.

he missed the occassional shot probably because of it, but played better overall because of it. too many players get lost in deliberation

you have to play to your own internal clock. some guys try to slow down and it rarely works. i like watching quicker players.

Wow is this event becoming more and more of a mockery of the sport. The breaks couldn’t be any softer even if they asked for unicorn cupcakes for their next birthday party. Ko Pin Yi has got that soft break to an art form too. When everyone is striving to achieve the exact same repeatable layout after the break, the game is broken.

Anyone familiar with Lauro Bongay? He's in the quarterfinals against James Aranas in a few minutes. FargoRate says 775 but with low robustness.

These are not Predator tables. They're a GC copy. That pic could be skewed by camera lens curvature. doubt they are that far off.
Thanks. I came here to see what the table was. At first glance I thought it was a GC5, but I have never seen one with light colored rails.

well played final, the only difference was a slightly better cb control from ko. aranas showed some nerves. ko made a genius shot in the last or penultimate rack.

this event has potential, and they had a nice production, but the break rules must change. 3 balls to kitchen doesn't work if a table breaks that easy. either that or play 10-ball or 15 ball rotation..

also prize money needs to increase by quite a bit for it to be worth it for non-asian players to go there.

Aranas has flinched before and that's one of those fate things. Fact is, winning the prestige requires a penthouse pass.
