anybody out there know where to go to get the live coverage? I signed up for the Live Sports & watched the qualifiers but wasn't sure if they're covering the crucible.

Scaramouche usually posts working links to live streams.
My advice is to spend a few minutes learning how to work a proxy and just watch it through the BBC website. Their commentary is much better than eurosport or whomever.

I've written a step by step explanation in this thread.

Both BBC and Eurosport are doing a fantastic job, but I prefer Eurosport and their commentators over BBC any day. BBC's were a bit pro Trump and anti Higgins last year, it was very evident. Especially that John Virgo guy who came into his pants every time Judd made a long ball. Also I get that fanboy vibe whenever they talk about Ronnie O.

Eurosport are far more neutral.

The most interesting coverage is BBC because of the commentating team.
This link has BBC 1 & 2

Dumb link to program schedule - you have to advance the calendar manually

The betting shops/Eurosport feed is usually available here:

Vettle will probably have a channel - you have go scrolling through the pages looking for it - icon is the Union Jack - good quality feed
NB The icon appears only when the feed is active.

Best quality picture and most reliable feed is the pay site of World Snooker - a single month costs about $6 - but it will chew up lots of download capacity (650 kbps) unless your ISP is restricting download speed (300 KBPS). So it could get expensive if you watch, say 13 hours a day :D.
You have been warned.
