Streaming the World Chinese Pool Championship from China

When I started watching this, most players used a soft break and tried to make one or two balls in the side pockets. Now they are absolutely destroying the rack with a huge break. I wonder what changed?
 
Andy turquoise felt, for people who want the cloth on their super expensive table to get marked like a beat-up Valley barbox within 3 hours of installation...

The cloth changes as the tournament goes on.
 
Unfortunately the stream is getting really choppy. Chu had a chance to go up 7-3 but he screwed up a runout and it's 6-4.

And i can understand playing slop on solids and strips but on the 8 ball? That's crazy. I guess it's like snooker - all flukes count

Thats odd, I could have sworn in previous years you had to call everything. Didn't Darren get in trouble one year because the ref didn't hear his call (even though he called it), I guess maybe they've changed it to speed things up for tv (although not sure that was necessary)?

The tournament played on Joy tables is call pocket. This tournament, played on Star tables, is not call pocket. Well, that's the way it is this year, anyway.

The soft break was used when they used the rack template, the hard break they use when the balls are racked with a triangle.

Fan on the hill.

Great pool but horrible stream now. Buffering is constant and sound is way too low. Turned it all the way up and still too low. Commentators are mumbling like they're in church or something.

man, he hit that 11 ball as pure as humanly possible to draw back for the 14, then he practically jumped out of his shoes on the 14 and almost blew position on the 8.
