Streaming World Snooker Championships?

Scaramouche (the Great) usually posts links in the snooker section when the tournements start.

Usually you can watch on Eurosport.de or other Eurosport channels but the commentary is either not there, or in German or some other language.
 
I haven't been able to access BBC via proxy servers this season.:(

The BBC has a list of internet service providers to which it will give access.

One suspects that BBC has removed the proxy servers from the list. I haven't found one that works.

I have had problems getting access to Eurosport, keep getting a message that access is restricted in my area. Don't know if this means it is not providing feed to North America, or if the servers are overloaded.

If anyone does get access, please post your method.

The tournament has started. Eurosport.de says I can't watch it due to "regional restrictions" or some such phrase.

The only reliable internet feed I have found this season is

Northern Ireland
http://www.tg4.tv/default.aspx

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it is only useful to watch the Northern Ireland Trophy. Commentary is in Gaelic unless they are interviewing someone who only speaks English.

File it away for next season:D It may be the only live snooker you will get to see.
 
Over on the snooker forum drsnooker says he is watching it right now in houston. I can't get the link to work.
 
I heard BBC had been reading this forum and decided that since Snooker was boring, easy, and too slow they'd block the links!

That's the first time I've heard Gaelic. I expected it to sound something like English but I was wrong. I didn't realize it was still spoken.
