Ellin Vs Strickland 1993 US Open Final

This is a great match - Earl was on fire that day!

Thanks for the heads up. It is nice to see some of these other players and matches. I have recordes most of them and I'm looking forward to seeing Strickland in his prime. Ellin was a great player but had a few quirkie movements. His head pops up on almost every shot.

Thanks -

Plus, my bad, its the Semis of the PBT Tour Championship in Los Angeles.

Great match, nonetheless.

Tony Ellin was a great person, I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting him before he passed on. We played at the Reno Open and I believe I was the last person to play him in a tournament as he was hit by the train later that week. I couldn't believe someone I was talking to earlier that week was no longer walking the Earth, after we had played I called my friends and told people what a nice and geniune guy Tony was.

RIP Mr. Ellin.
