In a race to 50 playing 9-ball on the same pockets used at the hong kong TCOM with Efren vs Earl, and Earl and Mike are in their prime playing their best, who would you bet on?

Earl Strickland 5 US Opens and 6 World Championship Titles what else can people say!LOL :D

I have it on tape (home video) of Sigel playing Reyes in one pocket at the Bicycle Club in CA in a banks, 9-ball and One pocket match from 1993 and Reyes handled Sigel real well in the One pocket event beating him 5-2. Sigel won the 9-ball 11-9 and Reyes won the banks 5-4.

Wasn't that taped at HardTimes in Bellflower?

If you ask me, Nick Varner in his prime has a better chance beating Sigel in the long race versus Earl Strickland. They played a Match and Nick was down 10-1 (with Sigel) and came back to win 11-10. That is why they called Nick - The Little Grinder!

I think I've seen the hill-hill rack of that match. Nick Varner missed the easy match 9-ball at hill-hill and had one of the luckiest rolls I can imagine. The 9-ball froze to the cueball from 2 cushions in a very nasty angle leaving Mike Sigel no shot at all.

I've never seen Mike Sigel play his best 9-ball, only watched some of his straight pool matches. Yes, he is very impressive !
