i stand by my original comment jay that it was a bit uncalled for. here we have a new thread announcing an exhibition match between a top pro and a living legend in earl strickland, and right off the bat you start saying that tony 'shouldnt' have to play earl and be subjected to 'torture'.

come on man, leave it/him be. be different and slag him off after he does something wrong, if he does. it just strikes me as people love hating him, which i don't understand. because we all love pool, and he loves the game more than us probably. and he's probably the best there ever was at it.

i'll be honest and straight with you as from what direction i am coming from here, i'm an earl fan. if the man is indeed an ass now, then he has damn well earned the right to be an ass!

I'm looking forward to catching some of the match tonight. Any details on length of the race with Tony and how the challenges later will be handled? Also, anyone hear whether Earl played in Blaze tourney on L.I. Sunday and how he's doing?

If anyone is interested in the match, I'm willing to video tape it. I'm not looking to make a quick buck, and will charge only $5 or $10 for interested parties... basically, just enough to cover my expenses for time and whatnot.

Mind you it will be a stationary camera, but of decent quality.

Earl embarrassed himself again at the blaze tourney he was whining the whole time he won his first 2 then he played liz ford she played great and had him 5- 3 in a race to 7 he missed a 3 ball and then quit he then went to the losers side and was barely trying he lost and finished out of the cash 1st santos 2nd park 3rd oscar bonilla

The #3 Shot is almost a twin of the shot that Buddy Hall teaches using the Clock System. It is almost impossible to scratch using 11o'clock, 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock. Just stay awayfrom 4,5 & 6.
sometimes when we are just to darn confident we will put the low English on a shot that doesn't need it and Wallah.

I could've sworn I posted two posts on this thread early today. Am I bugging out or what?

The first one was thanking cuetable for uploading the pics but wondering why they were smudgey.

The second post, and I can't remember who it was I quoted, but I had asked "what did she do?" referring to the poster's comment about a female heckler in the crowd.
