I was wanting to start doing the bottle drill and have been looking for a good stroke training aid.
I thought of using a graduated cylinder, but those were a little pricey.
A friend suggested I try looking at the local home brewer's supply store...
It turns out that was a great idea.
I found this Sibata brand hydrometer testing tube for 10 bucks.
With some slight modification to the guards or adding an additional support, I think this will do nicely for the bottle drill.
The mods I was thinking of would be trimming a few flats down to allow practice at different bridge heights.
The hydrometer testing tube is 14" long and has an approximate 1.25" o.d.
