I'd also like to see a cue that "breaks down" when misaligned, much like the Medicus clubs for golf that have hinges on them that open when the club is swung incorrectly.

Whatever works, is my motto, when it comes to gadgets.

There is this which is a similar concept. If you pull the cue off line, it bends.

Called the 360 purecue. Available for both snooker and pool it seems.

Unless it's built in the shaft I don't see how it would help you, and letting a pro use a cue with any gimmicky "help" does not mean a damn thing. He could already shoot well enough to be on tour. Anyone remember those laser sight cues? Or the spider thingy to help you learn how to aim? It's all bullshit, this is a game learned with practice and dedication, be it pool or snooker or any cue sport.

Why are you referring this to CJ? Don't you think any of the rest of us know anything about this subject. Why do you feel that CJ is the end all for information on this pool forum? I play pool for crissake, and I'm damn good at it. Just last night I played my 92 year old Grandmother a race to three in One Pocket, for fifty. I cleaned her freaking clock.
Now, your question was___are Snooker players as crazy as we are? Beats the hell out of me. Ask CJ.

My mistake I meant J C J . Jiminey Cricket Jr. I think he used to post on here
but I'm not sure. He used to play where I did. Had a great move, would sit
while you were shooting chalk his cue and rub his knees together. I never
heard anyone make such a weird noise chalking a cue, would drive you crazy.

I bought this when it came out 4 or 5 years ago (the pool version). Biggest piece of billiards garbage I ever bought in my life... and I have bought lots of stuff over the years. Stay away. IMO.
