very pretty cue and a pretty good price..
i own 2 cokers, awaiting my 3rd.... all hit very well.... my opinion is they are going to get more popular and the prices are going to go upwards.....

I agree! Especially these cues when Tom was still actively building them. Some people think there's a differrence since his son took over full time and Tom retired. All I know is that this one is a BEAUT!

MASON: I've had the cue all of 4 days so I just don't know. There is no weight bolt and it is forward balanced. But a Coker expert could probably answer your question whether Tom usually cores his ebony forearms. I just don't know!

Beautiful Coker

That is stunning Coker! Good Luck with it. That one should fly at that price.

i was told when he was/is making my ebony JB <the one i'm waiting for> that he would NOT core his cues... i asked for a specific weight and with the ebony he said he may not be able to get it there obviously because ebony is heavy/dense... "sorrry.... but i won't core the cue....."

so i think the answer is solid.... speedy deals with him a bunch and is an AZ'er.... speedy????

Tom and Michi are the one making the cues right now, Grady is in out but not in the shop full time. Very nice cue, great price!

Tom cored mine. I sent it back to Tom and he is refinishing the forearm. I asked them about the weight because it was over 20 oz (it is all ebony) and I really like as close to 19 as I can get. His cored it for me to bring the weight down.

The problem is the guy who does the refinishing was in the hospital and can only work a few hours a day. I have been waiting a while now but she told me last week that it should be ready this week. I hope so.

I had heard the same thing.

I ordered my Coker last July/August...and was told it would be done by X-mas or New Year's, at the latest.

Here we are, the last week in March, and still no cue.

I would be upset...but Michi told me that Tom had some medical stuff to deal with...and that, most recently, their guy that does the finish work was in the hospital for some pretty hard core stuff.

All in all, I can't be mad, given those circumstances.

Mine is ebony on ebony...and weights at around 19.4 ounces, per my request. I'm assuming that would mean mine is cored as well. Can't have THAT much ebony in a cue and come in at under 20oz, if it isn't cored......at least, I don't think so.
