Some sellers/transactions deserve their own thread, and this is certainly one of them.

Friday night (well after hours), I bought the Coco SCRUGGS Cue from AZer 8-ball Rat .

This magnificent cue arrived TODAY (Monday). Wow. (How...but, didn't you just... I, uh, wait a sec... you mean ...really?!?!) Yep. In my hands.

That says it all. Can't add to that. It literally doesn't get any better. Ever.

Oh, BTW, the cue itself far exceeds my expectations.

Honestly, he is one of the best people you could ever ceal with. Smooth sailing all the way.

maybe not they're own but i think the place for this thread is on the "Buyer / Seller transaction report" thread. it was made for this kind of thing. no jokes about the "thread" police please. just trying to help. :)

Hey, Bama - you tied him. From Maryland to Seattle, Friday to Monday. When the postman showed up, I had no idea what he was bringing.

BTW - I hit with that cue today and I'm shipping to JR for the refinish, etc. Thanks. The great cue stories on this board are because this forum community offers something ebay can't: collectors and players who just want to try out new cues, and don't mind breaking even to be able to do so.

Yeah, the transaction board is great, and offers up a central repository for all the deals that go on.

But.....on occasion......one comes through that really makes a solid impression.

I've done it a couple times myself.....and quite honestly, was gonna post a seperate one, myself, on VonRhett. He just beat me to it.

Von - Our deal COULD NOT POSSIBLY have been any easier to seal up. Enjoy that cue, sir. It's a real monster player/hits a ton/lights out cue....and I think you're gonna immediately love it!

Our deals have been fantastic....just like all cue and/or case deals should be.

I gotta say, there are so many great folks here...and I'm fortunate to have dealt with quite a few of 'em. It REALLY stands out when folks wish me well on my hunt for a particular cue or cuemaker.....and quite a few have even PM'd or e-mailed me when they see one on flea-bay or on the open market.

Stellar group of folks here, and you're up there with the best of 'em, Guy.

He wouldn't have said anything if it was a Josey Rat. Don't worry about it. They are not familuar with how us Virginia guys play the game. We discuss the price, get a deal and make it. No changes or BS. You done good Rat and I commend you. You are one of the good guys, I am not so sure about them.
