Sugartree and Bluegrass Cues

It sounds like you could start a show with this concept like biker build off. Call it cue build off give 2 cuemakers 2 or 3 types of wood (that they must use) and x amount of time before a big tourny to build a cue to have players and spectators vote which one is best in there eyes. I would watch

Your trying to steal my idea arent you;)

I totally agree on that idea...This would be a great way to get some exposure out there for some cuemakers.

I have to say, for my hands, the Sugartee just fit me actually alot better than most cues I have hit with. And now I know what all the fuss is about a Sugartree.....man, this was a sweet hitting cue. And the looks, Holy Crap....the wood in this cue was absolutely amazing. Maybe one of these days when I grow up....I can own a Sugartree also...

I would have either cues most definately, but for my taste and feel....I think a Sugartree is going to be more my fit!

Congradulations on Eric and Richard for making such an awesome cue!
I am sure that Eric is thrilled that a cue guru and owner of 3 Searings and a Scianella is giving him such a positive endorsement.

Erics cues pretty much speak for themselves. The one I shot with really felt good.....

somms69, you going to go to the VFW 8ball tourney in Muskogee this weekend?

I own, beside of some other cues, a bem bluegrass and a goncalo alves sugartree sneaky at the moment, and they are both my main playing cues. I will never sell any of them, because the hit of both of them is the best i ever experienced with any cue i`ve played with. feedback , feeling confidence in them, sound, craftmanship, they both deliver it with spades
Like some members before me said, the shaft feeling of a bluegrass is the best in the whole billiard world, smooooooooth like buttered glass. i like the taper from the bluegrass a little better, because the sugartree-taper is getting a little to thick for me to early, but then again the sugartree gives me a little bit more feedback.
Overall i am playing better with the sugartree but i am feeling more comfortable when playing with my bluegrass.

When reading this, it sounds a little confusing, but thats what i am feeling...
hope it helps.

I'm going to resurrect this thread to see what peoples opinions are now, several years later. I'm also finding myself with a choice between these two incredible cuemakers.

How about some more feedback on this topic?
