The reference to natural joint typically means it is not synthetic and implies it was ivory.
Besides, when the material used isn’t ivory, the seller usually makes a point of stating it.

For sale is a show-stopping 2022 Sugartree with a stunning broad maple leaf burl forearm and highly figured cocobolo handle and veneered points. It also features a solid natural half-inch joint, natural ferrules, and natural Hoppe ring, as well as micro trim rings in four positions. The cue has only been test hit and is in showroom condition.

Weight: 19.1 oz with either shaft: the butt alone weighs 15.3 oz.
