how come the joint is different in this cue usually eric uses 3/8 10 pins no?
i've seen these pins used before but i just dont know which cues he would use the brass 3/8 10 pin with.

i think he puts a standard 3/8-10 ss pin in most of his conversions and uses the 3/8-10 pin with the flat minor diameter on his other cues.in other words on his conversions the pin is standard 3/8-10 and his regular cues get the 3/8-10 that looks more like 3/8-11.

when i sadi conversion i meant maybe an older sneakie he converted or a one piece cues or somehting like that.also seems like most of them have a satin finish.

i know he puts the regular pin in his new sneakies.

Correct me if I am wrong...but isn't a brass pin heavier than a SS pin? This might explain the use of it in some cues, as a means to add a bit more weight in the nose, to bring the balance more forward?
